Step 1: Wrap Them Dogs/Franks

This recipe is super simple. From start to finish you will be eating this in around 15 minutes.

Take a hot dog frank and wrap it with a thin slice of bacon. I start at one in and then wrap it tightly slightly overlapping itself so it stays on the frank.

Place them seam edge side down in the air fryer basket which will help keep it together. If needed you can use soaked toothpicks to hold the bacon in place.

*To add cheese, slit the frank lengthwise but not all the way through the frank. Then add a long narrow strip of your favorite cheese. Then wrap with bacon. Again if needed, use a soaked damp toothpick to hold it in place.

Step 2: Cook Those Franks

Now all you need to do is cook them. I use 385F/195C and cook them for 12 to 14 minutes. At the 7-minute mark I open the air fryer and turn the bacon-wrapped franks over to the other side and cook the rest of the way until the bacon is done.

Use tongs to remove the franks and place them in your buns. Then serve however you like. My favorite way to eat them is with ketchup and mustard and sometimes relish and chopped onions. Enjoy!
