Introduction: Frozen Ice Cream W/ Baked Bottom

About: We explore how to bring ideas (and those who create them) to life by getting our hands dirty in/out of our Lab (mLab). #BuildMakeLearn

We will be making a Baked Bottom Ice Cream dessert! We have made this and it was amazing. To make this recipe you need 1 egg, 4 Tablespoon sugar, butter, 1 Tablespoon flour, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, vanilla wafers, and ice cream of your choice. We also recommend having some whip cream and some toppings for your dessert. For the utensils we need a medium bowl, spatula, timer, Easy Bake Oven, and measuring tablespoons.

Step 1: Mixing Ingredents

First you need to get your bowl and crack your egg. Then add your sugar. After adding the sugar you will add a bit of butter. Next add your cocoa powder and then mix till well mixed.

Step 2: Crushing

Put your mix to the side and get your wafers. Put your wafers in a bag and you can use almost anything to crush it. We used our hands to do this process and it was very effective.

Step 3: Pouring Batter and Baking

  • Get your Easy Bake Oven pan and pour the batter mix you made earlier into it. Let the Easy Bake Oven stay on for 10 mins-15 mins before putting in the mix. Put the mix in for 25-35 minutes. Once you take it out check if it is completely finished.

Step 4: Melting the Chocolate

First boil some water in a tea kettle, when done boiling put your hot water in a mug then put microwaveable cup over mug. Let it melt (when your able to stir it easily, it is done). Set it to the side.

Step 5: Putting It Together

Take your baked brownie and put it into a cup. Then take a spoon and compress it into the bottom of the cup. After that you take the ice cream of your choice and fill the cup up. We took whipped cream and put it down on top of one of the ice cream cups. After add the vanilla wafers you had crushed earlier. Next add some of the melted chocolate you made before and,Viola.
