Step 1: Approved Materials for the TIG Welder

Allowed Materials

  • Mild steel
  • Stainless steel
  • Aluminum

Banned Materials

  • Painted or plated materials
    • All coatings must be 100% removed by grinding before being welded.
  • Galvanized steel is never allowed.
