I love receiving feedback and advice, and ever since my family and friends heard that I'm getting married, I've been getting a lot of it! It really is a good thing, so if you have some good advice, go ahead and send it my way in the comments! I can tell you that the most common bit of advice that I've received, is that we will fight over the stupidest things, like what end to squeeze the toothpaste. In an effort to solve at least one problem before it arises, I headed to my shop with toothpaste in hand. After a bit a time fidgeting with this and that, a two end tube of toothpaste dubbed His and Hers Toothpaste was born.

Step 1: Parts and Tools

Parts:

Full tube of toothpaste
Empty tube of toothpaste (same size as full tube)

Tools:

Knife or scissors
Hot glue gun
Heat gun (hair dryer might work as well)

Step 2: Cut Empty Tube

Cut the empty tube of toothpaste leaving a little bit of tube to be glued in the following steps.

Step 3: Clean Cap

Clean this section of tube thoroughly to get a good bond between the tubes.

Step 4: Cut New Tube

Cut the seal off the new tube of toothpaste. Make this cut as straight as possible, it'll show once glued.

Step 5: Clean

Wipe and clean the inside of the full tube as best you can. This will allow the strongest cohesion.

Step 6: Glue

Apply a healthy amount of glue on the empty tube cap.

Step 7: Position

Since hot glue tends to harden possibly before the extra cap is in place, you can use the heat gun to re-position the new cap till it is where is should be. Use on lowest setting so that the printing on the outside of the tube doesn't crack.
