Introduction: How to Design a Maze Puzzle

Step by step process on how to design and 3D print a Ball Maze.

Download / Purchase Fusion 360

Step 1:

Enter Fusion 360 and then select new plain.

Step 2:

Press create and then select 2-Point Rectangle.

Step 3:

Make a 150mmx150mm square

Step 4:

Press E to extrude the square. Then extrude it 5mm.

Step 5:

After making your 3d sqaure select 2-point rectangle.

Step 6:

Make a 5mm x 150mm rectangle of the edge of the square.

Step 7:

After making your Rectangle press E and then extrude it 10 mm.

Step 8:

Repeat step 6 and 7 until you get a shape like this.

Step 9:

Use the 2-Point rectangle to create all of the obstacles in your maze.

Step 10:

After Creating all of your obstacle's. Press e to extrude and hold shift to select all of your obstacles. This will allow you to extrude all of them at once. Extrude the obstacle's 10 mm.

Step 11:

After extruding your maze should look something like this.

Step 12:

Next select create and then sphere.

Step 13:

Make the sphere 7.5mm in diameter.

Step 14:

Make a Start and finish in your Maze by selecting create and then center diameter circle.

Step 15:

Put your circles where you would like your start and finish to be.

Step 16:

Lastly extrude your circles -2mm

Step 17:

The Last step is to 3D print your Maze.
