Feeling Chilly? That means its time for the annual Instructables Sew Warm Contest! Fire up the sewing machine and stitch yourself enough layers to keep warm ’til spring.
Machine sew yourself a blanket, hand-stitch a scarf, embroider your favorite beanie, or even try your hand at e-textiles! There are lots of things you can make to help you stay toasty when it’s brisk outside.
The lucky winner of the Grand Prize will receives a Janome serger machine AND a MacBook Air. Other prizes include Cameo cutters, Curio desktop machines, and more! All sewing projects are eligible for this challenge, so gather up your notions and get in motion!!

Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Jan 8, 2018 and Mar 5, 2018 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Sew Warm Contest 2018. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
