Overview

Calling all bookworms, bibliophiles, and DIY enthusiasts! It is time for the Books and Bookshelves Contest.

Books have always been more than just pages bound together. They are portals to different worlds, sources of knowledge, and companions in our life journeys. In this contest, we're celebrating everything about books! Whether you craft a magical book-inspired artwork, build an innovative bookshelf, or even hand-make a book, this contest is for you!

Your project could be anything from a simple bookmark to a complex library management system, as long as it's inspired by or related to books.

Remember, it's not just about winning, it's about sharing your love for books and inspiring others with your creativity. We can't wait to see what you'll create!

Since there is so much you can do regarding books, we decided to have 6 special Judges Prizes (examples are just an idea and not a limitation):

  • Book Arts Judges Prize - examples include: bookmaking, rebinding books, making something with books
  • Book Accessory Judges Prize - examples include: booknook, bookmark, reading light
  • Book-Inspired Judges Prize - project is inspired by something from a book, make sure to mention the book
  • Bookshelf Judges Prize - structure that holds up books
  • Autodesk Design & Make Judges Prize - any project that uses Autodesk design software as part of the making process, students can download them for free on Autodesk
