Overview
The Casting Contest is your chance to show off your mold making and casting skills. We want to see your most ingenious projects regardless of whether you are casting your objects in plaster, resin, concrete, wax, chocolate, rubber, metal, porcelain, or something else entirely. Pour your heart and soul into that mold and show us the magic that results!
Any Instructable that uses a cast object at any point in the process is eligible to enter. We are looking for Instructables with clear images and instructions that really take advantage of the casting process in the creation of the final project.
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between May 1, 2018 and Jun 25, 2018 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Casting Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
