Supplies

The only thing you need for this tutorial is a Tinkercad account. They are free. I usually choose to sign in with Google.

Step 1: Tutorial Basics

When using one of my tutorials I recommend watching 30 seconds, then doing 30 seconds. Once you get the hang of it you can complete lessons really efficiently. You may also turn on captions. If I do not have the language you need you can use the auto-translate option too. Finally, a lot of my videos have chapters to assist you as you create.

This is a video of the idea if you prefer that over reading.

Step 2: IR Remote Tutorial

Simply watch for 30 seconds, then complete what you learn in the free Tinkercad simulator. We code 4 buttons on the Tinkercad IR remote. With the skills you gain you should be able to program the rest.

Have fun and learn principles without the fear of breaking real components. How many can you light up?
